rained out..again

*grumbles* the rain is really bad. seems like a cloud the size of SE-Asia is flying overhead us and raining like cats and dogs and giraffes and elephants. had to start packing my room and stuff, cousins coming over on sunday. so went thru this ernomous pile of papers. and yes, i for one can say my room is definitely not as messy as james' haha..anyways found a lot of meaningful stuff in that pile. including a letter when my dad was diagnosed with nose cancer in 2001 thot would like to share some of it here.

"When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." Isa 43:2

and this poem by A.W. Pink
"Were half the breath in sorrow spent
To Heaven in supplication sent,
Our cheerful song would oftener be
Hear what the Lord hath done for me."

God bless.

heh just got an email from viattorre. and they said this "We're gonna use Uniloc's Radial pin, Tiger maple and cocobolo. Ivory joint, ferrule and 1 solid rock maple shaft. The cost of the cue would be US$475 + shipping. Current waiting period is approximately 3-4 months."

thats like "woah!!" so my dream is becoming real. gonna find out more abt payment and stuff so i can start budgettin.

and yes only the weather could have dampen my spirits and spoil plans but its alright. i'll get to them later.

Angel
You are one of the few out there whose wings are
truly ANGELIC. Selfless, powerful, and
divine, you are one blessed with a certain
cosmic grace. You are unequalled in
peacefulness, love, and beauty. As a Being of
Light your wings are massive and a soft white
or silver. Countless feathers grace them and
radiate the light within you for all the world
to see. You are a defender, protector, and
caretaker. Comforter of the weak and forgiver
of the wrong, chances are you are taken
advantage of once in awhile, maybe quite often.
But your innocence and wisdom sees the good in
everyone and so this mistreatment does not make
you colder. Merciful to the extreme, you will
try to help misguided souls find themselves and
peace. However not all Angelics allow
themselves to be gotten the better of - the
Seraphim for example will be driven to fighting
for the sake of Justice and protection of those
less powerful. Congratulations - and don't ever
change - the world needs more people like you.

also another quiz..yes tonight i'm feeling bored and i've got no idea why.
did some "love quiz" that joesph recommended. go and try it if you're bored haha. here are my results ;p

1. You are attracted to those who are warm and obedience.

2. In the process of courtship, the approach that would make you
feel irresistable is straight-forward, just tell you he/she
loves you.

3. The impression you would like to give to your lover is loyal,
faithful, never change.

4. You don't like it when your partner is emotional and/or too
moody; and you don't know how to please him/her.

5. The kind of relationship you would like to build with your
partner is one that you care not only about the present but
also the future with your partner, a long-lasting relationship
that you can grow with.

6. You care about the society and morality, you won't do anything
wrong after marriage.

7. You are afraid of marriage, you think it would take away your
freedom.

8. At this moment, you don't have the thirst for love, you can't do
anything for it, you won't fall for it easily.

btw i think no. 7 and 8 are wrong for me. haha..but anyways no one said these tests could be trusted 100% rite? cuz only one person knows the road you'll take :)

rained out
backk from my marathon of days.

everything went to schedule cept for some items, like the first one which i had to go to my sam sok kong's place (3rd grand uncle) but was skipped cuz my cousins went ahead of me so i met them and went to my da ee ma's hse takin a lift from there. reached there, started work heh. did up some flower arrangements with my cousins and then some lighting arrangements for the tentage that was set up over the buffet table. followed by standing ard and waiting for things to do. btw i think it started raining since ard 12 noon that day (fri). so had lots of work to do. like after the rain stopped, we rushed to dry the tables, chairs and put on the tablecloth only for it to start raining. so in short before i had dinner i had my workout and was drenched. food was ok but the rendang by my auntie and the pig trotters by my uncle's colleague was nothing short of fantastic. then the fun for the night began ;)

noticed that some of the kids and one adult were playing bluff then the other adults joined him in playing gin rummy (one lucky dude walked off with some 500+ bucks). then the 'kids' went on to more bluff then bridge which raised more than a few eyebrows and plenty of onlookers and 'students'. usually when there's this sort of functions me and my cousins (tze wei, daniel, deuel) would end up playing bridge but tonight there was a new player in town..or rather in da house. she's rather good (eg. when you bid 3 spades and she wins the first 5 for you and is your partner, knowing wat to play and when to) and kinda impressed me lol. yes, she's rather cute and she's younger than all of us haha which obviously means some of us might need to buck up ;P. think her name's christine but shall cfm with my cousins who prob know her better. strange part is that i see her every cny at my da ee ma's house but i think she looks very familiar like i met her somewhere else and sometime i can't remember.

so they all left at ard 12 midnite and then came round 2. which was mahjong ;P heh i know that its sorta associated with gambling and stuff but i can't help but say it intrigues my mind. (how would you define 'luck'?) so played till 4.30 in the morning then went to sleep and try to wake up at 8 heh. (thanks serena for the wake up sms! :)) then only to discover that soccer was cancelled and i could grab a couple more hours of sleep (which i did) and thus wake up in time to go down to lianyi's house for lunch.

so off to lianyi's place to go and bai nian and meet up with friends and end up playing mahjong again =s hahah..guess some habits die hard. which summed up the whole afternoon and then off to walther's place.

after an hour's bus ride =s (which i was so uber bored) reached his place and immediately began on a game called "Boomo" (?). then uno with the usual rules as i remember. had a good score till got sabo-ed =/ (had 8 pts after 3 rds which had me hoping for better..then got 92 the next =s) so after uno finished at 7, i had 154 pts which was ok la considering angeline had 74(?) and eric had 98. then went for dinner at gillman heights food centre, having some japanese pizza thing. quite unique i would say but nth super fantastic and yes its still raining.

been raining since noon of friday and stopping or drizzling then heavy downpour but for most of this evening was such heavy downpour. visiblilty was so bad and the drains are flooding up. seems as perpectually raining on cny day2 and hot and dry on day1, but no matters. :)

heh back from the first day of visiting.

went pretty well considering this is the first year i'm doing it on my own representing my family. went to ah-kong's (maternal grandfather's) place first then zipped off to sengkang to my che-sok (7th uncle-dad's brother) to see all my paternal relatives then off after an hour and a half to eunos to my 5th grand aunt (maternal), spent an hour or so there and then to pasir ris to my grand uncle (also maternal) for dinner which was surprisingly short ending at 2130 then to my kowfu's (mum's brother) hse down the road.

somewhere in the last two stops i taught my cousins how to play german bridge and now we're all hooked. the game ended with deuel the winner by an insurmontable lead and i was 2nd while tze wei who prob had the worst 'luck' was 3rd and daniel last. heh. maybe it had to do with the vodka cranberry (which imho was excellent :P) that we had and that daniel didn't :P

so now i'm home. i've got ang paos but their not mine to keep T_T ahh wells if i had kept them goodness knows how much i would have spent so good that they're not mine now :P

tmrw and sat looks esp hectic heres how it would go.
friday
morning - afternoon : visiting
evening : cousin's place
nite: MAHJONG!
saturday
early morning: MAHJONG!
morning: soccer @ TCHS
afternoon: visiting either junhao/lian yee
evening: visiting walther
nite: dinner with whoever is @ walther's place

so i'm a busy guy huh? won't be bloggin tmrw or sat i guess (i'll prob drop dead when i reach home haha)

after reading all the post, i've realised one thing. a) they can't bring me to court and b) i'm not gonna give a hoot about them. the site is nothing more than a kiss-ass site where everyone only praises whats behind the forum/site. i'm not gonna be a part of that and i feel that pple are way too uptight over such a dumb matter. yes i've said it and i'm not gonna waste my time looking thru there again and bothering to post comments cuz i'll let them have their way, the amusement has worn off for me, truth be told, some pple ought not be so narrowminded and only think about kissing the chief's ass. and yes the site's standard is below par when compared to EPT concerning the amt of info in the post.

dad went to the teo clinic to do his drip today but the iv thingy on his arm was blocked (prob blood clot) so made our way to the hospital to get it unblocked and then he had his drip. after he was done we headed back there for him to get his hearing aid fitted. so now he can hear much better! ^^ good. thank God for dr teo's generous gift of the hearing aid :) thanks Dr Teo!

names shall be witheld. due to the fact i might get sued for defamation. so sue me i say. my comments and replies in italics

Thing,

Please don't take my post the wrong way but frankly, you did go beyond recommending a few good shops; you also said the others were below standard. There are so few cue shops in Singapore, you do not have to mention them by name; it is easy enough to identify the shops in this latter category.

Since it is the shops you’re referring to can be identified, the issue of whether your statement is defamatory arises. On the face of it, I think it is. I'm going by general principles because the law of defamation isn't within my usual scope of practice. If you wish, we can discuss this in greater detail, either by pm or by posting in the forum.

but i didn't mention any of them did i? while i agree in some ways that upe and hsb has set a benchmark for the rest, i made no mention of them as i've not gone there to have them service my cue or made a purchase there. there are something like 10+ pool shops in singapore alone and i've made mention of only 5. does that mean i'm saying that all the others are lousy/below par when i've not gone there either?

Also, there is an issue as to whether Poolfanatic.com is legally implicated (somewhat like a newspaper that is sued for publishing a defamatory statement made by a third party.) I’m sure you have no wish to drag an innocent party into this.

Having pointed out the issues of defamation to you, whether or not any of the shops thus identified chooses to sue is, of course, another matter. But why take the risk in the first place when you can be more circumspect and yet still be effective in your comments?

hmmm seems that you guys are taking things a bit too far now. first i would like to ask you, what was the primary concern of this thread? secondly, when i posted did anyone made mention of the words "imho". (for those who don't know it means "in my humble opinion") yet now you're saying i'm defaming the cue shops and implicating poolf.com by making a) no mention of them b) saying that some of them whose names i've not mentioned are lousy/below par.

It would have been good if you could say in your defence that you had personal experience (proving it is another matter) but it is quite clear from your post that you can't. You’re taking an awful risk in making such a statement in reliance on the feedback of other people. What if they refuse to support you in your defence?

when i 'said' (typed) those words i weighed them carefully. i've had countless bad experiences dealing with the different shops even within my list of 3. you've assumed i haven't been able to prove it, but its simply becuz the thread was not abt bad personal experiences but about which shop would the invididual recommend, which i think i did my utmost before it became a mudslinging session of not mentioning upe and hsb, like a reality check here please? so i did make a huge error (not turned into woohaa of the day) by missing out the words 'my' in the sentence 'the other shops have much fallen short of my standards. (eg inflated prices, bad salesmanship etc etc) '

At the end of the day, I would agree with you that as consumers we all have a freedom of choice, but you do not have the freedom of speech (at least, not in Singapore) to the extent that you can state something that could well damage the business reputation of someone else, unless you can prove that you have justification.

Please treat whatever I have stated as a cautionary note. No offence intended.

i personally feel and can see that i've not done any damage to any cue shop (mentioned or not mentioned), if so point them out would you please?

basically, i cannot how much hype this has attracted over a missing word and someone else misunderstanding the posts i've made. i apologise if i've hurt any ego/business reputation/confidence in anyway, even though i've seen no wrong doing on my part.

shall wait to see how this goes. i honestly think its a humongous joke and i can't help thinknin that a LAWYER is giving me a note of caution. "sacarsm"OMGOMGOMG like i'm gonna piss in my pants like that."/sacarsm"
dad got discharged today :) :) :)
haha..quite happy now. thanks for your prayers and your well wishes. thank God for seeing my dad and family thru this trial and hope that iti'll be edifyin to the rest of you guys out there. and just to add, prayer really works :)

anyways on a more sour note, i got ticked off for recommendin some pool shops but not the others, "why?" you may ask, well simply put, the guy just thinks he's right.
i wrote,
"imho, shops i would run off to are

a) Qshop for variety
b) InitialEd for cue care
c) Mambo for accessories

the other shops have much fallen short of standards. (eg inflated prices, bad salesmanship etc etc)"
ivan wrote,
"The statement that you have made is very misleading and irresponsible, I can't help but refute you when I see this. Have you tried the others pool shops in singapore, how can you say that "the other shops have much fallen short of standards. (eg inflated prices, bad salesmanship etc etc)", when you haven't really try their services, What about UPE and Headspot Billards? These 2 pro shops are the benchmark in this industry in my opinon. Those new pool fanatics in this site may take what you state here as the 'gospel truth' and come off thinking that only these 3 shops here is worthy and the others are simply not of their standard. Why is simply not true. I may not be a good player but I have brought or services my cues and accesories at Mambo, Q-shop, Headspot and UPE . I would say that all have their pros and cons.. But till now, personally, my first choice has been Headspot Billards, for their competative pricing, remarkable services and extensive knowledge."

my question in my head is this, can't i recommend cue shops of MY choice? must i recommend the same cue shop that everyone else is recommending? and what if i dun go to UPE and HSB to have my cue serviced or buy stuff from there, must i recommend them too? must i kiss their ass along with everyone else in the forum? if so screw them, all a bunch of pple who know how to talk but just like NATO (No Action Talk Only), action speaks louder than words.

so i wrote back,
"i have NOT been to EVERY pool shop and compare but i've been most of those which have been recommended by this forum, however the feedback i get from pple who do go to certain of the shops also plays a huge part in the info i'm gettin.

realise i did not point out specifically which shops are bad for watever. also i specifically did not say that you MUST or can ONLY go to those shops i recommended. whats there to get so uptight abt? didn't the thread starter ask to recommend a few good shops..thats all i did.

reason why i made no mention of UPE and HSB are becuz 1) i dun go there often 2) i feel more comfortable at the other shops 3) simply put, price.

EVERY consumer has a right to go where he wishes. since the others have made mention of it am i suppose to include them cuz others said so and jump on the bandwagon even though i dun go there?"

so tell me what do you think?

happy

made my dad laugh today. as i was going to pool haven in the afternoon after seeing him, he asked where was my cue case which i usually lug ard. and i said it was back there at ph and he laughed and said that since i'm an "instructor" there i could leave it there heh. that certainly brought a smile to my face and laughter to my father :)

gave him my dhw notes so he could study the bible when he could while he is there and then headed down to ph to meet an "interested buyer" and some friends. so went to meet this guy and when he saw the cue and fitted it on his ugly rage/fury nr-8 (which he claims is the best looking cue in the whole NR range -- not too mention that it had decals for inlay WOOOW! so nice!..urgh ugly crap) then he started to criticise the shaft by saying "oh there's a ding here and there's the chalk stains in the wood" and i'm like thinking, "DUH! its a 2nd hand shaft rite?". then he carried on to saying, "oh i can get one from the Qshop at 290. so i dun wanna pay so much for a 2nd hand one" and i was thinking, "erm sure go ahead then. if you are gonna get one from there why bother making me come out to meet you to get criticized?". wat a dimwit. so when he was finished with his crictisms and downplaying, he passed the shaft back to me and i just shoved it back to its hole in my case with some attitude. then he asked wat was the lowest price i could go to and i told him 220. then he said he would get back to me by weds and honestly. i can sell him the cue and beat the living ass out of him on the table with my cheapo joss (which btw has mother-of-pearl inlays..dig that you decal lover!).

so after that the couple of games were so-so and then called it a day and went for reunion steamboat at my uncle's place at pasir ris. rather uneventful despite the durian strudel which didn't taste too good and i just got back.

wondering over a queer problem but shan't think so much :)

grumbles

had an okay day overall, soccer was tiring, it was super hot and even though the 4 men team ran circles ard the 5 men team i can only say that "ahh guys its alright we'll do better next time ;)" so played only abt an hour before rushed back home for lunch, shower, housework and then out to PH to meet the guy to buy the predator BK.

so met johan there and guess wat at 1455 he couldn't make it to PH on time and like he would want to cuz he works in mambo -_- so had to go down to meet him. and when i drew money the atm had stupid thing of ONLY dispensing $10 notes. so the guy in front of me had 75 $10 notes lol. poor him. had a good bargain and now i got the cue i wanted so back to PH and left my case there then off to SGH where i caught my dad in time.

btw, he's condition is now stable. but he's losing hearing in his right ear now too which is kinda bad. watched him eat dinner and then had to run off for my reunion dinner with my paternal relatives, which was a thoroughly bad experience.

the food wasn't bad or anything (just a tad too salty) but the service was 110% the worst i've seen for a restuarant of that size. shan't go into details but just addin that i'll never ever go back to that place for any meal again.

so caught a lift from my cousin all the way home and along the way i saw two idiots at the expressway. why do i call them that? -a) they were hoggin the right most lane and travelling at 80km/h -b) while hoggin it, they were CHATTING with each other -c) when they sped off and cut in and out of traffic they looked like idiots, they would speed and overtake one of two cars then slow down and wait for the other to catch up and overtake.

if you motorcyclists think you bloody well own the road think again, there's plenty of road users out there who couldn't care less than my cousin so two wheels good four wheels better.

i just discovered how much God has led me thru the past week and how He works in my life.

see i feel, there's mainly 3 things that have kept me going all this while.
1) God, for without such an anchor i would have surely fallen a long time ago.
2) prayers and visits by friends and church pple. which really lifted my overall feeling of downess and depression.
3) pool, which helped me take things off and exercise my mind.

thank God i can play pool even though not very well but its always intriguing to learn and continue learning and experiencing new stuff.

today went to Pool Room with Vincent and his friend, and i won't go back there to play competitively though i sorta like the overall environment minus the stale cigarette smoke and dumb techno music. 10 gold crown tables with horrible tan coloured cloth. i couldn't see the 9 ball at all for long shots. which meant i left alot of "tong-keng" for the next person to pot. which pissed me off when vincent's friend just took the shot without lookin and missin by which time i couldn't be bothered with the 9. its like so *grumbles*.

then when to pool haven to pick up my tiger claw (cue holder) for $35 (which i thot made a good bargain) and met louis and bond who were playin with marco (?) (quite sharp guy nonetheless). then onto mambo2 for guard playing 10-30-50 dollars...cents :P didn't lose much either only 40 cents so not too bad playing considering the cushions feel funny.

so thank God for giving the mind power, the limbs and the eyes to play pool. :D
thank you, Lord. :)

thanks once again for the prayers for my dad and my family.

he's been moved out of ICU and is now in a HD (High Dependency) Ward. He responded well to the bout of antibiotics as well as the blood transfusion. although he's rather weak now, things are definitely looking up.

so thanks once again for your prayers and for the visits.

God bless.

p.s. since he's moved to another ward, he's not on the DIL (Dangerously Ill List) and thus cannot accept any other visits.
thank God for prayers.

my dad woke up this morning and is responding well to the bout of anti-biotics that he was given. thank you for all your prayers and thank God for seeing him as well as my family thru this. will continue to update you on the situation

thankful

just got back from the hospital and i'm ok for now. many of my relatives came down to share our burden as well as many friends who took the time off and trouble to come down to pay him a visit. i thank you on behalf of my family.

he's in a stable condition and is still very sick, his blood pressure has been fluctuating all nite when i was there. and for the most part he was asleep though he woke up twice, which is a rather good sign. the doctors and we (mum and i) dunnoe wats wrong but hopefully (prayerfully) we will by tmrw morning. they did a CT scan and drained some spinal fluid to help them find out wats wrong. suspected is that there is an infection of the brain and worst case is cancer of the brain. do pray for God's hand to guide the doctors and wisdom to help them diagnose it.

also please include in your prayers, strength for my mum and myself and God's will for my dad. thanking God also for such a trial that it'll strengthen me in my walk and to edify and be a shining light to those ard me.

also on a side note, a good friend, has offered up his kidney and while it isn't possible for my dad to go thru such an operation now as well as that if i could i would have given my kidney, i would like to thank him and acknowledge his kind words. Thanks Jere.

praise the Lord!

pray for my dad, he's suffered a slight mental breakdown and is warded in hospital (or about to be). thanks for prayers so far.

pray that God will guide the hands and minds of the doctors to do His will.

VERY VERY tired

morning was very very bad. went to accompany my dad to the National Dental Centre. so after 2 hours of sleep (was planning the layout for a pool hall) i went down and there the first surprise/shock hit. he had a slight temperature and thus wasn't allowed to pass. he was then led off to the isolation/interview room where he had his temp taken again and its was approx 38 deg cel. so instead of going up to the docs, they came down. however, he is suffering from pain in his jaws as well as swelling in the right cheek, the doctor couldn't find anything related to his dental work that might have caused that problem. so they dunno wats wrong, i dunno wat to do and yeah its was kinda jialat. then when i told my mum wat was happening and that my dad insisted on going back to work, she nagged at me for not coming home to do housework but i DON'T want to be at home cuz thats where i think too much and pray too little. and no she didn't understand.

so afternoon's pool was really shitty. i won like 4 racks out of a possible 15(?). last few racks where the best. then on to work.

coaching's really fun, only drawback is that i talked myself dry. things like, you're gripping too far back..try to relax the wrist..lock the shoulders not the elbows..your stance is off..*pant* and i thot SDU only did matchmaking. -__- anyways its satisfying when you see some of them startin to get the hang of it. which is good :) so much for hard work. all the coach did was network, mingle around and joke a lot. yes i bore the brunt of the jokes when he talked about cues, ESP mine. goodness, if only he knew that i bought mine for a mere $250 (joss jos109 with leather wrap -- nice maple shaft, mother-of-pearl inlays, birdseye maple butt) compared to his decal inlaid viking rofles.

so tired..heh so satisfyin..so i'm really gonna go and sleep really really soon!

btw, the one at table 3 in black and jeans with a short ponytail quite cute la *bashful* :P (psstt..its just eye candy)
tired, feeling good :)

just back home. 8 hours of pool :) won 3 out of 6 or 7 sets so paid abt half the table time which came up to ard 10 bucks. drinks and food ard 6-10 and cab was 12. ok the last 2 parts must cut down LOL :D

overall quite sharp today esp in the evening. heheh got the grove at the rite time i guess. fingers and arms quite tired as well as my legs and ass (last 2 cuz of soccer heh) really quite tired thinking about position play, english, cue ball position and pin point cueing. good exercise of the mind.

thank God for giving me the eyesight, the mind to think, my limbs and my stroke.

tmrw my assistant coaching job starts, shouldn't be too tough though. and yes btw its a pool clinic for SDU (Single Desperate Ugly or whatever you wish to call it) and 1st lessons are pretty much talk-shop not much action.

gonna turn in now, tmrw have to see my dad to the docs to see whats wrong with his jaw. its really a) worrying b) depressing c) trying d) all of the above. i wish there's sth i could do to alleviate his pain and suffering.

and pool @ 1530.

hmm something's wrong with blogger i guess i just added a new section to my blog and it turned out fine in the preview but is missin when i save it. the html is fine i just checked it again with dreamweaver and its there but i dun have it when i view it (even after republishin it like 5 times) *grumbles*

anyways just came back from soccer, quite tired in a way. silly goals conceded and beautiful ones scored. silly as in lettin the ball roll thru the keeper's legs *koff*marcus*koff* and really silly like kickin the ball at the opponent and the ball is deflected in *rolls eyes*. beautiful moments like stans tremendous volley that would have taken marcus with it if he caught it, the wild shot with my left foot headin straight to the opposite corner when there were bodies in the way, more dribbling and ball control by minsheng and stan and stephen. all in all quite a good day la.

joel (the other liar..erm lawyer) sent me back and as i was walkin by the bike shop downstairs couldn't help but notice the bike in the window heh. its like a dream bike to me! ^^ front suspension, thumb shifters, disc brakes and all in all lookin really nice! :) too bad i can't have a bike T_T

so anyways gotta do some housework if not i'm gonna get nagged 24/7..again. *grumbles*

lucky

not too bad. played guard last nite and didn't lose much even though they would claim i lost 2.70 -.- which i couldn't have cuz i know how much i started with but nvm was really fun even though wasn't playing top notch. was quite tired by the time i reached home heh.

been spendin my time in front of pc, on bike and at the table again. of which the bike will go back to its owner soon =/ the pc which i must cut down again and that leaves me to go back to the table where theres the itch but no cash :P

quite bad i consistently wake up at 11 which means i miss breakfast hours lol!

anyway me got 'training' today. shouldn't be too hard la. be back tonight.

in pain but can la

back still hurts now and then. shouldn't bother me cept that i won't be able to lift any heavy weights or go cyclin till it disappears. sleeping straight as a log and sittin upright all nite like a pole has certainly helped in some way. now its more of a dull sore.

anyways spent the nite at jianzhi's place and had quite a good time playin taboo and laughin over dumb descriptions that actually make a lot of sense whichever side you think of it. (no for decency sakes i shan't mention them rofles!). that was preceded by winning eleven 6 which i subsequently lost interest in and floated over to the table for a couple of games of floating bridge.

actually we were at his place for some MLM talk thingiewatchacallit and i must say the cash looks good. as well as the product which thoroughly tickled my nostrils. lol. all i can say is i'll consider though the thought of makin a five-figure sum every month is a good prospect which would allow me to follow a silly dream and start a pool hall ^^

and no one wants to play junta! -____-" darn was lookin forward to it so pretty much decided to knock off and rest but silly ache wouldn't go away and had to take over kai in german bridge. (eh dude! i made up so much lost grd for you! where's me breakfast?!) then it was tryin-to-get-some-rest-time again till 830 when we finally left while kai and junhao were going slightly nuts over winning eleven 6 and playin each other again and again (like wats so fun? real thing better!)

so anyways i just got up, lunch is waitin and i'm kinda bored and there's no soccer on the telly tonight! or nth interestin thats it.

IN PAIN!!

my fever has passed thank God :) prob just food poisonin cuz i puked out everything i ate when i got back yesterday. and was so sickk and tired that i slept most of it away too. i was sleepin from 7 am to 3 pm then ate a bit not much appetite to eat more and went back to sleep at 5 before waking at 10 and going back to sleep at 1 am. woke up at 10 today and had such a great pain in my upper back right side. and i just came back from the sinseh and he said its prob a pinched nerve cuz maybe i slept on too high a pillow. so in conclusion maybe sleeping too much was bad. heh.

still in pain however but not so often now. shall attempt to go out to jianzhi's place and get someone to help me with my back.

actually continued from just now.
cuz i didn't publish the post till now.

halfway thru lunch had a dumb arguement with my mum. anyways..i called it quits and went to sleep after 2 panadols, 8 carbon tablets. and i just woke up. zzz. still feeling like crap ugh..i bet i'm severely dehydrated. actually dun feel like writin. will continue when i'm well.
sickk hungry and slightly irritated

yes i'm sick on new year's day. kinda sucks heh. had some form of food poisonin/diarrheoa. must be the food last nite durin the stayover but shan't jump to conclusions. and my mum blames it on the late nights i've been havin. doesn't quite make sense huh? and yes i'm irritated cuz i got shaken awake only after 5 hours thanks to my mum's naggin =/. so i just turned around and went back to sleep. heck la! i need MY sleep :P

anyways stayover was pretty fun, can't say interestin cuz i nearly dozed off when james was explainin the rules for the funky boardgame called Junta. basically, you learn how to cheat, lie, backstab, steal and make false promises in your spare time hehehe. lol 1st rd already started a coup against stan who was the president.
