today's fireworks were good :) and longer than last weeks ^^ very nice!! too bad its over hahah..see lah..tell you all to go see no one 'hiew' me. anyways..today was ok lah..stepped in to cover for jon and like after service had lunch before going to cine to catch i, robot which was good..based on the same book as debbie's play. concept the same, characters and everything else is a lot different, lets just put it its made for the screen.

anyways, i just realised i've got 6.33 gb of mp3s in my hdd..like haha..oops..music pirate i am. :P like click and let it download then ooops! =D and yes, i went hmv after putting it off for super long and guess what, i didn't pick up anything! dohh! anyways got my mind set on the quite old 3eb album (which someone lost for me) and prob sth for the dude going in 2 mths ahead of me..

aching

yesterday's tennis was good..found a bit of my stroke back..still gotta keep working on it too. like i can't hit anything with my backhand. anyway we played some 2+ hours before going for dinner and i was pooped by that time (not that i did run a lot..)

went for dinner then back home and was dota-ing till jo msged me for at.. heh tried a orc-hmn combi and it worked quite well except for the first map which was erm...really a bad map to play, so lost that one and went on to win the next 3. two were really nothing big..but one of them started with very badly (their hero harass me) and we were on the verge of losing. luckily, they made a couple of mistakes and we managed to win. hard fought one.

so i went to sleep at 6! hahah...now i'm up and abt and i'm aching all over! decided to turn down the invitation to west coast and stop pool for the weekend..at least till monday (will restart on tues) and now i've got nothing to do, save for going back to play more warcraft :P

fuckin' screwed up

i hate home sometimes. hate to stay at home. want to go out for supper/drinks can't..reason being "what if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, then get killed or injured or sth" like wtf. its like not gonna happen la. damn fugged up. can't she see? i'm old enough to take care of myself to make sure that nothing bad is gonna happen duh. like seriously..

first my stroke screwed up now this. fug it! i hate having to be told what to do all the time. i hate this stupid rule. i hate all this shit abt stuff happening that should have happen years ago. now i'm sitting in front of the pc pulling a damn black and long face.

everything's really fuggin pissin me off.

pool's not been good.. i'll play well for a while and then things don't work out.. losing focus before i completely throw it out the window. don't know what i'm doing and what i'm doing wrong. also i feel myself stagnating again... can't seem to get past this mental barrier and improve..

at least friendship has been going up.. though sometimes i swear i've got pple trying to stab me with invisible daggers.. but apart from that, there's been new friendships made, old ones not forgotten and hurtful ones forgotten.

well.. guess someday the pieces will come to place and i will be whole again..

so first, i'll try to concentrate on pool. the key word being try..

and i'm not too keen on discussin the other pieces that are apart right now..

cycling, sun, and other stuff

today was really quite fun :)

danny and lisa planned a cycling trip to pple's houses to wish them a happy national day, take a pic and give a lollipop.. sounds really funny..too bad lisa couldn't make it..

then i was late in waking up, like i got up at 11..so had to push the meeting time back to abt 1215 then danny's tires were flat so he had to pump so by the time we first met up was already 1235. reached our first stop, lingwei's then on to the next stop where danny, broke his pedal (like woohoo well done!) and then onto nancy's place, who wasn't feeling too well, but she made it out to welcome us, then down the canal to amanda's place followed a rest stop at lisa's :) then we slacked abit more and then left at ard 1400, only to discover her tires were almost flat. so had to go esso to pump and that was at 1430 when we reached esso and viola! her tires weren't flat, they were punctured! --" so had to get back and then change a bike. following that was just a smooth journey all the way to west coast park where the teens were kiteflying and some of the j2s were playing touch rugby and stuff. so after accompanying them all the way there, then turned ard and headed for home. by the time i got home was 1540 i believe..so got a scolding for being late..haha..it didn't matter..i was having too much fun to care abt the time :P

then went to my auntie's place at u.serangoon there..watched the national day thing and played mahjong :) but today no luck =X so got kicked out of the table in quick succession (each person starts with 25 chips, lose that and you can sit out)..but woo..the level they were playing at was over me head..but at least i learnt much and didn't play too badly :) watched my "pro" uncles and aunties play a couple of rounds and it was like woow..! heh..so like just got back home.. prob gonna sleep soon..

sometimes, we can only talk the talk.

played poorly this morning and it carried forward to the afternoon game..losing 7-2, i had an all time high record of like 13-17 scratches in the game. never played so poorly before in a competitive game. *shrugs just donno what went wrong.

anyway yf was good, glad i made the effort to go. see, smart me who knows the bus routes and stuff took 970 and missed the stop (dun ask me why..!) so had to alight at holland v. then there got shortage of buses going to clementi, like suddenly. so waited ard 15 mins and managed to get onto 7. then went to clementi and tried to change to 154. guess what, that played me out too! waited nearly half an hour for the 154 to come!! -.-" so like i reached church at 7. when in the first place, i could have taken 51 from gf and reach half an hour earlier *rolls eyes fantastic? i thot so too.. =X

anyways..yf was on the book of joel :) haha..and like went eld cheong went over a certain pt i thot of sth. he said that the bible didn't include much information of the prophet joel, it simply put it as God spoke to the prophet, who is the son of so-and-so. but thats all the information there is. eld cheong put it this way, says the book basically is abt the message of the book, that like although when we hear the message at sermons or sharings, we look at the life the person is living...cuz as my title put it, "don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk" its true la..but this time its just about the msg and what an apt name for the prophet giving God's statements in this book, jo-el is split like this and it means "Jehovah is God"

well apart from that, walked lisa back with grace and dawn and geez it was so hyper..i felt so old :P haha..but it was fun..thanks you three! :) (should you see this that is)

seem to be updating less nowadays. don't seem to have that interest or that sparkle in life for now. been bit-torrenting music past few days to fill up my muvo. even my pool has taken a backseat and a decline.

besides the good news (as always abt my cue), nothing much interests me besides getting my stroke back and having good music to groove to. sighh.. =S

its been a long time since i felt this feeling of being so terribly screwed up that i can't seem to associate it with anyone, anything. but yet i'm feeling it now. i hate the way things are yet i am either powerless to do anything abt it or i just couldn't care less. never understood why i feel ths way or react to it this way either.

its just a matter of don't care, don't want to care and what the **** is happening.

yeah its 4 am and i'm still awake. like you would too if you read the "da vinci code" :) its a great book as long as you don't get stuck to believing its actually true. there are too many facts that are wrong and besides the very basis of the book in my opinion is false.

but that kept me up from 11 till now or rather 3.30 heh. like 4.5 hrs of reading. eeeks hahah..its been awhile since i stuck on to reading something so intriguing that i don't even do anything else. =P

anyways summing up, on weds i went poolfusion3. not too bad the place..had the funky cueball but the cloth, cushions and lighting wasn't the best i've seen. played relatively ok there. rates wise also a bit on the high side..

then thurs had like guard la..with jo, alex and teh. managed to walk out winning enough to cover the table *shrugs (at least its a start) and like boy, like the 'traffic' was fantastic. ;) also realised sth. i was playing with my p2 then wasn't exactly able to play well..so i switched back over to the joss and began to have my confidence in my stroke, in my game. quite bad i know.. -_-"

then fri went to gf to train since they have good rates for ept players. then ended playing guard with justin and bryan..even giving me the 8 still can't save me. sighh..really learnt a lot by losing. at least i guess i'll be more confident in future.

then went for supper with jo..eat already talk cock then go over to his place that time my bike went into a ditch and i sprained my ankle really badly. it seemed better as i let it rest and as we headed over to his place.

well this morning it like swelled double or triple already..super pain now..even the slightest touch sent my scream factor up (yes its that painful =S) dunnoe what to do abt it. can't even walk 5 paces and i just sprayed some aerosol thing for sprains. prob bind it up in a while. doubt i'll be walking fast/running this couple of days. least of all play pool sighh..

wow incredibly. played for 5 hours and only managd to sqeeze 9 out of him. kinda let him off the hook once too often. sighh..if only i was as sharp as i was before he came. like i break cleared one rack and then after that jo broke the next and scratched and i ran out.

was using the joss too..its in quite a need for a new tip..draw or shots that are hit harder has that horrible 'thwack' sound. at least 1 break clear today. 93 more to go.

realised its been awhile since i last blogged and read pple's blog..this strange lethargy seems to envelope and come over me.

like just a brief run through, nothing much interesting has happened this week, strangely. maybe cuz its just been home in front of my com or reading or out playing pool or soccer. its nice lah but sometimes it gets a wee bit boring. money's flowing like the river out of my pocket and i got bills to pay arghhh..

was so damn boring at the sembawang chalet thing. first off i don't think its meant to be a chalet/resort. there's nothing to do there, apart from a pool (which you can't swim in unless you're wearing sexy swimming trunks -- which i have none off, like wats wrong with broadshorts? *stupid rules) which is 1.2m on one end and 2.8m on the other, a gym (with not much equipment), a video-games room (with not much games), and a restuarant (which is empty at lunch & dinner time). rooms were just as bad, apart from a comfortable king-sized bed (which i spent 2/3s of my stay, in), the toilet was clean and the tv miniscule (like 11"). no other amenities like mini-bar/fridge or soap/shampoo or room service or freebies. so much for holiday. *grumbles

also lacked the discipline to do my QT past 3 nites --" have no idea why. just damn sian.

went for paintball (should be pain-ball) in the evening after waking up at like 4pm heh. was really really fun :) (but really ex!) and its quite adrenalin pumping action the whole way thru. its also a reality check when you realise you can't dodge the pellets like neo in matrix or shoot two-handed like chow yun fatt and certainly can't see anything. the pellets travels at 320 km/h so like when it hits it really hurts. so it sounds like this, "pop-thwack (miss-hit barrel)..pop-thwack (miss-hit barrier)..pop-aaaaaAAAAAAAAAAA (hit-hit me!)" .i've got 7 bruises so far and counting. muscles are so gonna ache tmrw.

would have rather gone for tennis, cuz its free but i guess i won't be pain-balling anymore, its fun for a one-off thing but way too pricey to do often but its great for working out hahaha...! =D
