went to hospital to check on my dad. he got admitted yesterday for a minor op today. then he's like ok lah but his neck rather strained so he can't lie down much and i can't do much as well.

*cue talk..non pool players or anyone not interested can switch off now*
think am gonna make some changes to the cue. gonna put a silver ring at the joints A and B, have the back like the pfd cue in yesterday's pic which will be a black delrin butt cap and a ring of probably ivorine/phenolic. and get an extra shaft.

went for lingwei's concert and i do think there's some form of mix up somewhere or nots. cuz when i found out abt it, it was on sunday then happened that lingwei had a spare tix (grace's -- he said she couldn't make it or sth) so i took it over and didn't take much about it till i saw her blog which reads like this

then i'm like "UH?!" so well done huh?

the performance was quite ok and stuff (though david kept complaining about the background lighting and i felt that the piano often drowned out the choir to some extent) and lingwei's time on the piano was excellent and although i would feel its not too bad but i really feel is that i can't appreciate it as well as whoever likes choral performances. i (somehow like david) am more attuned to instrumental or orchestral performances, cuz hearing someone sing in a language i've got no grasp of like latin and hebrew is not really that good as hearing the sounds of the many instruments. oh well to each his or her own.
